Welcome to kenwood heights
We are so glad you’re here! It is our hope and prayer that your visit with us leads you to encounter Jesus Christ in a life-changing way.
- We have Bible School classes at 9:15 AM and worship service at 10:30 AM (worship service is also live-streamed on our YouTube channel).
- Kids’ church is available during our service for Elementary-age children. Kids’ church is upstairs in Rooms 215-216.
- Our Nursery and Preschool are staffed and ready for your family! Nursery and Preschool during the service are found in Room 115.
- Following communion, Middle and High School students will move upstairs to Room 208 for their class.
- Communion is available on the tables located at the four corners of the MPR, and can be picked up prior to the beginning of the service or following the communion prayer.
- Tithes and offerings can be given online by following the button below.

Mission Trip Bake Sale
Saturday, March 14
We will be hosting our annual Upward Bake Sale on March 14! All proceeds from the bake sale go to support our 2026 DR Mission Trip. If you would like to donate baked goods, donations can be brought to the church on March 13 from 9 AM - 6 PM and on the morning of March 14. Due to limited space, we are asking for non-refrigerated and non-frozen items only. Please see Alex Idle or Paul Gray if you have any questions.

When we follow Jesus, we make a commitment to live differently. What does it mean to live differently? It means that we no longer pursue the things of this world and allow them to guide our lives. Instead, our motives should be to glorify God, to draw near to Him, and to trust Him. A faith that is put into practice is faith that sets pride aside and daily says, “It’s not about me.” As we unpack James 4, today we are focusing on the importance of surrender in the life of a believer. When we trust God in our lives, we believe that He is in control. From that trust, we can live with a new mindset.
